Friends’ Annual Meeting

Thursday, May 25, 6:30 p.m.
Join us for the Friends' Annual Meeting and election of officers & directors, with guest speaker Valerie Marvin, Curator and Historian of the Michigan State Capitol. Valerie will speak about "Diversity Under the Dome: Stories of the Very Different People Brought Together by the Capitol 1835-1956". A graduate of the University of Michigan (Bachelor of Arts in Russian Studies, 2005) and Eastern Michigan (Masters of Science in Historic Preservation, 2009), she lives with her husband David in a 1906 home in downtown Lansing.

Friends' business meeting and election at 6 p.m. Presentation by Valerie at 6:30 p.m. Members of the Friends, as well as the general public are welcome to attend this free event.
