MEMBERSHIP

Your membership helps support Library programs and services that support the community and enhance the Library experience.

Member benefits include two (2) free books [annually] from the Used Book Store, two (2) free weeks on rental books, a monthly newsletter mailed to your home, and more.

To become a member of the Friends, please fill out an application in-person at the Library or via the link below. Once processed, you will receive a membership card in the mail.

Memberships are valid for one calendar year and DO NOT automatically renew.

If you’re not ready to become a member of the Friends, you can still make an impact through donations of materials that can be sold in the Used Book Store or a monetary donation through PayPal.

All funds go towards supporting Saint Clair Shores Public Library special events, programming, and services that support our community.

Do you love books? Do you love food? The Friends offer two opportunities to donate critical funds to Library events and programming while indulging in your guilty pleasures!

USED BOOK STORE

Located in the Library, the Used Book Store offers a wide selection of used books, puzzles, DVDs and CDs. We invite visitors at the Library to visit the Store and find an old favorite or something new. All proceeds go directly to the Saint Clair Shores Public Library and special events and programming!

KROGER

Kroger offers a Community Rewards program that lets you link your Kroger card to the Friends of the Saint Clair Shores Public Library. A portion of sales go directly to the Saint Clair Shores Public Library and special events and programming!

1. Sign into your Kroger digital account

2. Navigate to the Community Rewards page

3. Enter NPO number CU917

4. Select the Friends of Saint Clair Shores Public Library and click save

ENGAGE & FOLLOW

The Library thrives through community participation and engagement. Spread the word to your family and friends about all of the amazing programs the Library offers. The majority of events are free and are open to our community.
